i read this stuff this weekend. had fun, too:

• Dark Knight Strikes Again #3: $ K BoW
  this book was great!!! there is a really good thread over at cbr which starts off really vitriolic but turns into some interesting philosophical debate if you have the time. anyway, it's over now, but i will buy anything miller writes. deconstruction of the pop icon at it's finest.
  
• X-Statix #1: $ K
  yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy! i. love. this. book.
  
• Rex Mundi #0: $ K
  a preview issue that looks verrry interesting. i hope image does continue with this book, as the premise, art, and writing are all of interest.
  
• League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, vol. 2 #1: $ K
  i had hoped to only pick this first iss. up, and then pick up the hc in a while, but i am hooked, so i guess i'll pick up the monthlies and pick up the hc.
  

it was really hard to pick a best of week this week, because everything was superlative. i went with DK2 because of the debate it has engendered. it's turned the community on its ear, and that is good, my friends. oh yes.
